Things that prevent SM2 from greatness

1. Majoris enemies performing sentry call in areas that are near impossible to cancel, either being too far away or outright not on the map itself. 

Fix: Sentry calls can only be made in areas of map that players can physically traverse, if the player cannot get there, sentry calls cannot be made there. Majoris enemies must be X distance from the player otherwise sentry calls are not allowed, e.g. they must be within the range of a Grapnel shot or Assault Ground Pound to initiate a sentry call


2. Mob attack timing during bubble attack of Hive Tyrant. Mobs should stop attacking or attack in sync of the psi bubble attack of the Hive Tyrant during the fight. A lot of times, you're forced to eat an attack because the enemy is attacking the same time a bubble is incoming, with no way to avoid both, which then possibly leads into....


3. getting stunlocked. There are so many ways to get stunlocked to death, it's not funny. In the above scenario, because you can't avoid both attacks, you eat one, then eat the next 2 bubble wave attacks and die. Othertimes, it's overlapping attacks that if you miss the first parry/dodge, you just keep eating subsequent attacks and then die.


A good game design should make the player feel like any failures is their fault and not the game taking away control.

I'd add neurothrope's blast wave going through walls, making it impossible to hide from, and the enemy still being able to hit you even during gun strike. Those can make some annoying experience and I hope they will address it at some point in the future.

Number one reason preventing the game from being better: The devs releasing patches like this one that needless nerf things players liked. It shows they do not actually understand what players want to see in the game.


Oh and they lied, only block and balanced weapons saw damage increases so fencing weapons got double-F'd this patch. They (probably accidentally while touching them for no reason) entirely removed the fencing weapon type's "riposte window" bonus aka the improved perfect parry window.

nerfing fencing weapons on patch 5.0 aside, 


Things that are ridiculous that need to be fixed:

-the zoanthrope beam that can hit u even if you are in a different room is ridiculous, 

-2 zoans spamming beams at the same time is ridiculous, 

-the pulse attack of the neurothrope going through walls when you're in a different area and cant see the pulse coming to time it is ridiculous, 

-the neurothrope pulse attack when it lands on a different level and u cant see the pulse clearly to time it is ridiculous.

-needing 15+ melee swings to kill a single majoris in lethal is tedious and ridiculous.

-no servers in the middle east and playing with high ping all the time for me is ridiculous.


Things that are unnecessary:

-the camera change when u gunstrike in the middle of a swarm and cant see anything anymore and get blindsided is completely unnecessary (at least add option to turn it off?),

-more than 3 devourers spawning next to each other on lethal and you just die in second with no chance is Unnecessary.


Things that would be nice:

-being able to choose the bots classes and loadouts would be nice, (choosing a build you leveled would be even nicer)

-turning off bots and playing solo for real would be nice, 

-More progression past lvl 25 would be nice, 

-having a wider range of perks to choose from would be nice.
