Will modding get you banned?

I would also like to know the policy on PvE mods as well as PvP mods, there's a couple tiny things i want to change about the PvE but still want to be able to matchmake online. namely I want to mod the sprint speed ever so slightly faster so that its not slower than perpetually rolling around like I'm sonic the hedgehog, and is equal to the speed you sprint at enemies after pressing E to do a finisher. I also want to change the revolting forced scope on the sniper rifles, never understood that choice gameplay wise - it doesn't seem to make the weapon harder to use or balance it down at all, you can still use it close quarters its just sickening to do so. I can understand that choice in PvP but not PvE, I'm guessing they left it like that to be consistent but nevertheless I want to change it BAD. 

I'd also like to highlight that the original post has been up for 7 days with no reply - i expect you guys are busy squashing the endless bugs popping up but your studios stance and policy on modding should have been available and clear on launch. it would be cruel to not elaborate on that and then inadvertently ban unsuspecting non cheating players because they triggered the anti cheat by reskinning some of the Tyranids as shrek.
