As a PS5 player, I have added a couple of people I have met who are also playing on the PS5 to my PSN Friends List. I may also have some PSN friends getting the game as well. These friends I could easily invite to a game, but I am not sure how, or even if, we can invite friends on other platforms to games?

If this hasn't been addressed, it would be very, very useful to have an in-game, cross-platform Friends List. It seems like it should work in a couple of ways:

1) You can lookup a friend by entering a PSN Username, Steam ID or GamerTag and send then a Friend Request. If they accept, it adds them to an in-game Friends List that the both of you can then sends invites from.

2) You could also send this Friend Request, regardless of platform, to someone in a random matchmaking game you have played. They would then have the option to accept or not.

Another matching idea, yours has more votes though.

I fully agree with this. I miss newly made PC brothers I cannot connect with again, unless by random chance.

how does a game launch in 2024 without a functioning friendslist. Mind blowing.
