There use to be a way to remove the white dot on screen but keep the sights when aiming. In the latest patch it removes the dot and sights when aiming. Not really a fan of having a white dot on screen at all times but also need to see where I'm shooting when aiming.

I just registered to raise the same idea and I see your idea with the same thing, I also support it, having the white dot seemed very intrusive to me before patch 3.0 I had it disabled and at the same time it was very immersive for me, because the crosshair of the weapons only appeared when aiming and was removed when I stopped aiming, very immersive for me, now I don't like it with that giant white dot.
