The melee attack/parry animation has this "hit stop" feature in which the game pauses for a fraction of a second. The reason of this feature possibly being:

  • Impact Feedback: It enhances the sensation of impact, making each hit feel more powerful and satisfying.

  • Player Reaction Time: It gives players a brief moment to react, allowing them to plan their next move, whether it's to chain another attack, perform a combo, or execute a special ability. 

  • Cinematic Effect: It adds a dramatic flair to combat, making it visually engaging and dynamic. 

I understand that some players like it or don't care about it, but for those who absolutely hate it, please implement an option to remove this hit stop effect. I don't think it is a big developement effort because PVP already has a more fluid melee animation, therefore it can be reused.
