Dodge/Parry in heavy stance

Seems like I have to exit heavy stance before I can dodge/parry. This requires two inputs instead of one, aswell as decreasing the time I have to dodge/parry.

It's already easy to get swarmed as a heavy but not being able to defend myself while I try to lay down fire feels like a kick on the balls.

Not sure if this is intended or not but it should be fixed.

The issue is, that you can't dodge while doing any animation (attack/stance/getting up from being knocked over), but you can parry. It's annoying and should be usable like parry is.

​I second this.

Having to unaim to dodge makes heavy completely unappealing to me.

Let us dodge and parry freely when in aim mode.

Let us activate and deactivate our barrier freely (you cant while for example in an execution. Yesterday it wouldn't even respond while I was sprinting).


I don't understand this restriction in the players' agency over their characters' movement. It just creates frustration, nothing else.

If they think heavy would be too strong (for whatever reason), they should balance the weapons or something.


Balance the game, not the player.
