Add PVP Crossplay for PC and Consoles

Exactly my thoughts, for such a great game like SM2, it shouldnt block us from playing with friends in any mode. The game is not ranked yet and if it has some ranked dont allow it for the mode only. We should be able to play with everyone in casual pvp games

I agree. I'm having to consider buying it for PC now too just to play PVP with my friends.

I just made this account to come make the same idea suggestion. Please make pvp crossplay opt in/out. If fairness is a reason to do this, please hear us out when we say the fairest thing to do is to make crossplay opt in/out. It is unfair for those who do wish to play with not just their friends, but everyone. I am a console player, for what that is worth.

Skill based matchmaking is also a workaround as I know some people are sick with a controller regardless. The real issue is purchasing a console version based on *crossplay being a feature - a) I want to make use of my console and b) preserve my PC's shelf-life for work purposes and keep maintenance down to a minimum, I hate dealing with drivers and component failures, OS update fails, etc. - and then finding out I won't be rolling with my friends on steam because the sweaties don't want a disadvantage. So dumb. At the very least a toggle lets people play together and deal with the consequences on their own terms.

Yes add the option for players to choose if they pass with crossplay, there is very little advantage with keyboard and mouse if the aim assist is strong anyway. So it's not a big deal especially on third person games like this. 

Give us players the freedom to choose how we play.

Made an account just to comment on this! Let the people play how they wish! An opt-out system harms nobody. People who are opted In can still be match made with people who have opted out if they are all on the same platform 

I don't understand the choice to separate us when we have the option to do that ourselves?!?

I'm now seriously thinking about having to buy a copy on console to play with friends in pvp. I much rather just own the PC version

please let us have the choice really want to experience the FULL game with my friends 

Please remove this restriction so people can enjoy all aspects of this game with friends, regardless of platform. At the very least, this should be an opt-out option in the settings like it is for PvE (with default being crossplay ON).

I agree we should have a switch option to have cross play in pvp.

Literally just signed up for focus together to add to this post and say to make it an option at least. I think to still keep it fair we can have different pools for ranked matches (pc pool v console pool v mixed pool). But even without the break up in ranked pools I would really at least like it as a toggle so I can play PvP with friends (my friends are on PC and I am on PS5).

So I can't play PVP with my friends... great, why isnt crossplay enabled for PVP, just add a toggle on console for people worried about cheaters or balance. Limiting people being able to play together is never a good thing.

This should be our choice to make.
