I hope the developers will take an interest in the various ideas, read them all sincerely, and provide feedback on how they have interpreted and responded to them. It's not enough for players to just submit ideas without any indication that the developers have seen or responded to them.

Ya, one of my ideas has already been marked as "Nice to Have".  


I haven't actually seen a studio that has been this interactive with the fans and truly dedicated to the IP as this group has been.  Nothing but gold stars so far.  


Although @Taupinambour - just remember how quickly people turned on HD2 devs.  We are here for ya'll, just continue to hear us and be here for us too.  We don't want SM2 to be a hit, we WANT SM2 to be a megahit.

I would love to see like a Community video where you sit down with a dev and go through the ideas page and say whether they can be implemented or not, so perhaps we could better shape our ideas and expectations. Going through any fan art and generally just interacting with the community live. I think you'd see a lot of love on stream.

Warframe (Digital Extremes) had a very positive interaction doing this and the relationship shaped warframe into the game it is today, with many community wanted features making it into the game. The movement system they have today is because of a forum poster, they implemented weapons myself had recommended.

Arrowhead Game Studios, the creator of Helldivers II, is even more interactive with their community.

Heck, even the CEO/CCO often replies to comments on their Helldivers Reddit forum.

The dev team, community managers and CEO/CCO frequent their Discord channel daily and weekly.

Now that's a rarity!

@Taupinambour  Would it be possible to make a stream/video of you talking over the top 10-25 most popular ideas and expressing on how you feel about them and why they would work or not work? I feel like we are speaking to the void at the moment couse we have very little feedback. Currently the game can be described as Amazing but we want and need more of it.

I hope they see my chainsword on the sniper class request, I think sniper would be far more viable with its inclusion as you never do more ranged damage then the heavy and not even close when it comes to any other class that has melee as an option. With the chainsword added to the class it would play more like a ranged focused tactical with a cloaking system rather then just being bad at melee and not top dog of range, it would fill a niche I myself like playing.

Oh, friend, it’s disappointing. I started this thread before Space Marine 2 was even released. I read almost a thousand ideas, all focusing on PVE, balance, and replayability. There were dozens of ideas, but that’s all they were. And now, I’m not reading any more ideas. It’s just an illusion

If I had the money, I would buy both GW and Saber and make this damn game into what 40k fans want.   ​

  1. I feel like the devs gave up on the whole "Ideas" thing. There are over 5 000 now and number of must haves (2), greenlit (0) or implemented (5) didn't go up a single bit in the entire month. No statement from devs aside staying true to their "vision" and excuses like with the FoV and shoulder swapping.... :< It would be AT LEAST nice if the devs/upper management made a statement about wtf they are exactly doing. Being more open would help to keep people playing the game. Being radio silent like this takes away all the faith the playerbase has for any improvements.
  2. Ultrawide support was added based on patch notes, yet it's broken.
  3. Private mode is here, yet the promised in May SOLO mode is nowhere to be seen.
  4. Assault Class Groundpound damage increase does nothing when 2/3 of the perks rely on using the jetpack resource to dodge instead.
  5. "Reduced ability to stunlock enemies with ranged attacks across all AI characters"  shouldn't even be an issue. If you're stunlucking an enemy with a bolter and the enemy isn't turning into red mist, something is very wrong.

TL;DR the entire patch can be summarized as fixing a few things and changing a few values, nothing more. Hip firing non-heavy weapons still feels like rolling a D20 for every shot with the dice being heavily weighted at 1.

​It's a sloppy update that's just been left there with no hotfix or anything until you reach the next milestone, three months down the road. And by then, you'll get the hotfix for the past patch, which is the most ridiculous thing. Let the game sell its season pass for only one year,

I honestly don't believe that you read all this, If you do, i don't believe in your skills to implement simplest of these ideas. Hardly 2 months have passed and this game is already boring. New pistol or one trivial PVP map will not solve anything. We literally wait 2 months for a damn color lenses feature XD I'm not going back to this game until at least one PROCEDURE for PVP appears, legit one with objectives and at least 10 vs 10. This would be a good START.
