Tyrannic war veterans harken from the firstborn ranks, facing hive fleet behemoth as it fell upon the ultramar system. These veterans made killing the tendrils of hive fleets their profession. They slew their enemies with ease, knowing the will of the hive mind as if part of the symbiotic synapse themselves. The fact is, their knowledge of their foes is second to none, it is enough to know the tactics used by the xenos by wrote. Lictors could find themselves being stalked by a single veteran, the hunter becoming the hunted. Usually due to their proficiency in dealing death to the Alien, they are seconded to deathwatch.

These veterans are easily singled out by their armour. Adorned with trophies taken from the corpses of their slain enemies, a skull mounted on a pauldron, a sything talon kept as a keepsake or chitin strapped to their armour as testament of their kill. If the gory additions aren't present, then chapter approved markings can be seen, marking these veterans as the chapters best against the xenos race.

The game could use some of these additions. Hidden behind a high level event/award (kill an insane amount of tyrannid extremis or exterminatus / complete a huge amount of tyrannid opperations).

The armour we have is generic and applicable to all chapters. Although tyrannic veterans are commonly associated with ultramarines, the Baal system has been under attack (most recently) and so now the Blood Angels are one of the Chapters with extensive experience of the Tyranid threat. We know the hive tendrills probe across all of the Galaxy, so these armour additions will work with all chapters.
