So, if you're just discovering this post be sure to check out Part 1 and on a later date Part 3. For this post I'll be going over what seems to be the meat of this topic. This post also contains the most desired classes amongst the community. These are primarily the HQ models on the tabletop that provide some of the most unique styles of play. As mentioned within Part 1, these classes should be locked behind a prerequisite. Each requirement should be unique to the class in question. However, it shouldn't be too difficult to obtain. Let's get started.

Healer

The long-awaited Apothecary class. The in-game representation should be the best or most interesting aspects of the tabletop iterations in my opinion, so this also includes the Apothecary Biologus model (got to promote the minis). This dedicated supporting class is a tankier version of the Support class that hyper focuses on health restoration and excels at reviving allies. Introducing an older Apothecary aspect, the Medicae Servo Skull. The Healer will introduce the use of servo skulls. They provide passive benefits to you and your allies within a large radius. This Servo Skull is focused on passive bursts of health restoration to injured allies and aspects of this can be buffed through Perks for PvE. It can be a weaker version of the Medicae Stimm that has a rather lengthy cooldown. Another unique feature would be able to see if allies are taking damage when out of sight. Their highlighted silhouette flashes red when attacked, which would be useful in PvP. Their ability has to be the Narthecium, but implementing this ability would require changes to PvP. Allies being downed but not killed and injuries (originally PvE features) must be added first. And if you already guessed it, the Narthecium should revolve around fallen and injured allies.

Weapons- Chainsword, Narthecium Gauntlet, Absolver Bolt Pistol, Reductor Pistol, Bolt Pistol

* It's unfortunate that GW got rid of the traditional Narthecium wrist mounted gauntlet with the chainblades and reductor for the new Apothecaries. It was metal. Not sure if they would allow that aspect to be portrayed in modern games. By the way, the Narthecium Gauntlet is essentially that as mentioned above under weapons. I feel as if introducing the Support class first will allow easier implementation of the Healer class in the future. It will allow to stress test aspects of the game by introducing a true support role through established mechanics versus jumping into the deep end with a pure healer that would require extensive changes to PvP, I presume. I'm crossing my fingers to see more support items that can be used besides Medicae Stimms. Such as Stimms that regen health and reduce damage or increase movement and aiming speed for a period of time.

Champion

Nothing screams 40k like a transhuman with over-the-top sci-fi armor wielding a massive medieval looking weapon, excuse me, power weapon. The Champion is based off of the Primaris Company and Chapter Champion models. They are a melee powerhouse through Master Swordsmen, that grants them special melee combos off of Perfect Parries and allows them to block a large percentage of ranged projectile damage while holding down the Parry Button (block and redirect shots like a jedi?) for a short period of time. Their ability Martial Superiority grants them a movement and attack speed buff as well as automatic Perfect Parries for a short duration.

Armor Rating- 3 (Tacticus)

Weapons- Dual Relic Blades, Champion's Blade, Power Sword, Heavy Bolt Pistol and Bolt Pistol

* Once again changes need to be made to PvP in order to incorporate this class. This time around, it's the current parry system. If the devs need inspiration on a parry system within PvP or melee combat in general, checkout a little game called For Honor. There might be a thing or two there to get your wheels turning. Also, by this time I'd hope there's executions in PvP as well. I added the Heavy Bolt Pistol to their arsenal in attempt for their range dps in PvE not to suffer too much. These are suggestions after all, not demands.

Sanctity

I believe the top 3 classes that the player base would like to see implemented are the Apothecary, Librarian and the Chaplain. And just like the Champion this next class screams 40k as it brings the traditional grim dark aesthetic to the forefront. The Sanctity class is based on the Chaplain as well as the Judiciar models. They are a tanky melee specialist that provides passive team buffs through their frontline aggression. The passive feature Tempormortis, grants defensive team buffs in a large radius when performing successful charged attacks, perfect parries, perfect dodges and executions for a brief period of time. I'm leaning towards a % of damage reduction that stacks if different actions are performed. Executions should also grant 2 stacks so that a max of 5 stacks of a damage reduction % can be gained. I think this would require a cooldown as well, so that it's not a permanent buff. I also think it be cool if they had a passive offensive mechanic where the Sanctity personally gains a melee damage buff through missing health. Their ability Litany of Hate is another AoE team buff that enhances damage output through a raw damage buff and granting the Sanctity immunity to crowd controlling effects for a short period of time.

Armor Rating- 3 (Tacticus)

Weapons- Crozius Arcanum, Relic Executioner Blade, Absolver Bolt Pistol, Inferno Pistol and Bolt Pistol

* The Sanctity is a bit of a swiss army knife. I think it be cool if every time a stack of Tempormortis is gained that they recite some sort of prayer as well as a different one for Litany of Hate is used.

Tech

If the Chaplain isn't amongst the top 3, it be the Techmarine. And like the Chaplain, they too are swiss army knives. The only difference is that they look the part. However, to differentiate the two in terms of role, the Tech is much more of a ranged damager with support capabilities and has a more passive and laxer playstyle. With Mechanized Support, the Tech grants passive Armor regen to self and nearby allies through their mechadendrite tendrils and their servo-arm (every so often), as well as reintroduces the use of Servo Skulls. This time around the Servo Skull is suited with offensive capabilities that passively attack and mark enemies. The Tech provides further DPS bursts through Automated Vengeance, where their shoulder mounted turret (the Forge Bolter) automatically attacks enemies that are marked by the Servo Skull first and nearby visible enemies for a period of time. Though the Tech should substantially focus on range damage, their melee weapons are nothing to scoff at, as they have access to the Thunder Hammer and the Omnissian Power Axe. However, I'd be hard pressed to make any of those fencing weapons (in their hands) to further get the point across.

Weapons- Thunder Hammer, Omnnissian Power Axe, Grav-Pistol, Plasma Pistol and Bolt Pistol

* The animations behind the mechandendrite, the servo-arm as well as the servo skull seem like a nightmare. In terms of visual design, I believe these guys will be the hardest to bring to life. Had to use new names/words for the abilities in order to fit the playstyle desired. Blessing and Vengeance of the Omnissiah, I suppose they can be perk talents.

Psychic

Lastly, the most anticipated class (or maybe I'm just projecting) the Psychic. Based on the Librarian model, these warp wielders bring absolute devastation in their wake. Through Empyrean Empowerment, the Psychic can unleash AoE warp blasts through charged attacks and finishers. A residue is also left behind from these charged attacks, that create a stack of personal damage reduction, that diminishes over time. Their ability was one that was difficult to pin down, due to their sheer number of disciplines and powers on the tabletop. I finally settled on Vortex of Doom??? (I really wanted Gaze of Infinity for some team utility, but I'm afraid that it be difficult to implement and it has more variables attached to it.) Yes, the Librarian is a nuker. The best support is that of annihilating the opposition after all. Vortex of Doom could also be customized through the perk tree to grant some crowd controlling effects or maybe applying a psychic DoT for more DPS.

Warhammer 40K Space Marine LibrarianSpace Marines: Librarian - Mystic Games

Armor Rating- 3 (Tacticus)

Weapons- Force Stave, Force Axe, Force Sword, Smite and Bolt Pistol

* The Librarian was one of those classes where its role could literally be anything (due to their spells). I settled on a high AoE DPS focused role due to the fact that a pure support as well as ranged hybrid support already existed (with the Healer as well as the Tech respectively). The Psychic is also on the opposite end of the spectrum when compared to the Champion. They are similar in role to that of the Specialist but offer more sustained AoE damage within a closer range and have more built in defenses.

This should wrap up the Advance Classes. Pretty much each contributes a different role within the game. Each class is also unlocked by completing a unique prerequisite as well as in game currency (500 Requisition points?) seems fair. Once again, I'd love to hear the feedback. Let me know if there are other classes that you rather see added instead. If you haven't already checked out the first part of my post, please do so. It goes over the Basic Classes. And stay tuned for the third part, where I go over the juicy Special Classes.

Yay you're first to reply. I think the Part 3 is going to blow some people away. There might be restrictions around them to say the least. This game has soo much potential. Imagine a battle royal mode or separate game like apex legends but with 40k factions. Nothing gets more 40k than Chaplain war gear.
