For the apothecary i think they should not be able to create a source of healing out of thin air but rather benefit off of medical supplies that can be found around the map and helping other players restore that health quicker. 

Passive: Medical supplies give 15% more health from using them. The apothecary can use these medical supplies on other players.

Secondary Passive: The Apothecary can collect the gene-seed of any fallen players which will then shorten the time that it takes for them to come back on the battle field.

Main Ability: When very close to a player the Apothecary can choose to boost there maximum health by 50% for 10 seconds and increase their melee speed by 15%.

One of the perks that the Apothecary could have is that when the ability is used the, targeted player gets a full bar of contested health and more contested health regen for 10 seconds. This would replace the effect of the original ability.
