new blocking mechanic

The new blocking mechanic is definitley better than the old one, but another reason that its not as good as fencing or balance is you cant perfect parry kill minoris enemies for armor back, also its hard to get three stacks since alot of the attacks come in twos and then they pause so you have to decide to wait or attack and lose the stack, so i think it should be 2 stacks or not spend until you build three.

It does not need to get armor back on parrying minoris.  In fact, it needs to distance itself more and create its own identity.


My suggestion is:

  1. block weapon has an AoE stagger on surrounding minoris on perfect parry;
  2. block weapon has an AoE stagger on surrounding minoris on hitting enemies (range and impact are increased with adrenaline stacks);
  3. block weapons have increased delay before contested health decays and it decays slower;
  4. final block stack AoE explosion regains % of damage dealt as contested health; and
  5. block weapons do not regain armor in its feature set.

This completely changes how this weapon type works compared to parry weapons.  Rather than relying heavily on parries and playing defensively, this turns the weapon type into an offensive weapon - where staying on the offensive is the best way to stay alive.  Rather than regaining armor - you have an increased ability to stay at full health.  In order to accomplish this, you must keep up on damage output.
