Dismay about Salamander Champion

I don't know what goes into making 3d assets and implementing them into games so maybe the idea of having more than one champion model per class is asking too much, but I feel like Saber has tied themselves into a knot by limiting champion skins to only one per class.

I think the skin looks awesome don't get me wrong but Sniper is thematically a huge miss.

I dont know what really they were thinking in making a Salamander sniper as a champion skin. Literally it wasnt hard to miss and whoever came up with that decision should take a break from the project for a long time . They have built that knot themselves, no one were stopping them to make a tactical or a heavy skin , we just wouldnt have cared less if a class gets the champion skin twice , as long as it fits and represents the chapter's culture and doctrine at its best. The only good thing i can save from this failure Is that at least now we have a dedicated chapter face , who knows if this will make them finally hear us on at least this highly requested feature

Agree with both points completely, I can only hope that much like the Dark Angels each class will have dedicated armour parts that will make up for the poor Champion Choice. What I don’t understand is that it will come full circle anyway, there’s more chapters than classes so what then?
