I can't be the only one tired of picking a melee class for pvp and always being gunned down by the person I'm actively attacking in melee, what's the point of even using my melee weapon if the enemy can just out more dps to me with their guns then I can with my melee weapon on my melee class?
I came up with the idea of instead stat boosts to melee weapons, maybe if characters using a ranged weapon would be staggered everytime they try shooting a melee attacked while he's actively attacking them melee classes would have a better chance, and less cases of people unloading their guns into someone actively hitting them with a sword and still winning. Make it so blocking in melee also has more relevant impact, if you block a melee attack the attacker should get staggered and open for your retaliation.
