No more riddles in operations

I usually avoid Chaos missions, but today, I got pulled into the Obelisk operation via Quick Match, along with two other random players. The resulting experience was far from enjoyable.


First, we wandered through the tomb for about 15 minutes because neither they nor I knew where to go, and the quest markers were not helpful. Then, we reached the altars and wasted another 5 minutes because my companions didn’t realize they needed to step out of the circle once the island was aligned.


In my opinion, this is poor game design for a game that most people play with random teammates and without an effective way to communicate. Operations should be straightforward and streamlined, like Inferno, Decapitation and Ballistic Engine.

The Obelisk mission is more designed for team play and communication between players. Especially if you play on high difficulties. Just with random players it is quite problematic to pass this mission.
That said, this is one of the more interesting missions that forces players to stick together and stay close to each other.
