As the title states, my submission for a new class idea would be the company champion. Would love to hear any feedback or ideas you all may have for this class proposal. 

                        Main Concepts 

• Two-handed melee weapons. Examples: Eviscerators, Thunderhammers, Relic Blades (Two-handed Powersword), Power-Axes/Maces, 
• The second possible weapon option would be dual melee weapons, such as power-swords or chain-axes.
• Limited to only pistols, likely the same pistols the assault has access to. Which as of now is only the Bolt Pistol, and Heavy Bolt Pistol.
• Medium armor, shouldn't be as tough as a Bulwark but should be tougher than a Vanguard. 
• Normal movement and speed
• Class Ability: Oath of Moment ( or any name they pick ): The company champion makes oaths of litany and hate against his enemies, for a short duration the champion has increased attack speed, movement speed and cannot be staggered/stunned. 

                   Explanation and Reasoning

• ​Would draw in fans of various aspects of space marines not yet touched by the current classes and weaponry.  Such as Black Templar players wanting to be the Emporers Champion with a Relic Blade; A Blood Angel player using an Eviscerator as a member of the Death Company or any other variation of skilled/ruthless swordmen amongst the other chapters.
• Allows the devs the ability to add in more two-handed weapons without making assault too strong, as well as the ability to add the thunderhammer to another class.
  
• Would "round out" any voids between the melee classes, meaning between the Champion, Assault, Vanguard, and Bulwark almost all melee combat styles would be covered. That way going forward, they can focus on many of the other requested classes such as Chaplain, Apothecaries, and Librarians.
• It has a corresponding traitor Astartes legion to fit the class, many people have suggested Emperor's Children for Apothecaries but they are known for being swordsmen and good ones at that so that's a possibility.

I don't think this is different enough from the already-present melee classes.

Solid idea for a new class. Would love to see something like this added. I think it would be best if they didn’t get the thunder hammer though. 

I'd love to see this become a new class. Saber and Focus might sway away from this if they are going to add a Judiciar.

Unfortunately, Terminators just aren't something you can put into the game on a balanced scale with Mk10 armor. That would be cool to get to use them in a mission though. 

As far as Company Champion with two handed power weapons and a bolt pistol... It would be hard to distinguish itself from other classes, and couldn't really pull off the Emperor's Champion vibe for the Black Templar, per se. 

I like the idea, but it would have to have some sort of means to close into melee without getting shot down, and then weapons that could actually kill things once it got there. 

I suppose you could give it Heavy Shields and a Hate the Heretic ability that causes it to either regenerate it's own shields or get extra shield and health generation per melee hit. 

Even still, it would be hard to make PVP functional, unless you just camped corners or teamed up with a shield wall. 

I do love the idea narratively... 

Good idea. 

But I would first prefer some more... "Unique" ? ... Classes. 

Techmarine, Apothicary, Librarian, possibly a Terminator class (or the possibility to play an existing class with a Terminator Armor, with pro and cons) or even some specific chapter classes like the Space Wolfs can get (for instance).
