They've been "fixing" colors with each patch and breaking as much as they correct. 4.0 last week did what you describe, and the only consmetic fixes for 4.1 was making Lethal unlocks available if their conditions were met. I was hoping they'd have color fixes with 4.1. Alas...

Having unlocked all cosmetics myself, and a long-time Blood Raven player, I recommend using Korne Red for now and sticking with Ushabi Bone cause it's still the closest in lieu of any other shade of cream/light-tan.

But why? why did they had to change it? some decals even got screwed up and they reduced the costumization such as the decal on the right kneepad of my character here. Here it also shows how the red changed but due to the lighting its not super noticable but you can see it.

We bascially went from scarlet to orange. I understand that in some GW publications the BR have been kind of orangy red  "Red + a bit of brown"but scarlet is more consistent IMO.

I think you need a new monitor. That is not orange at all and i have an eizo monitor calibrated for graphic editing. My colors are presented accuretly.

both are from the same monitor after the patch, this isnt even for debate. The colors where changed.

​I changed the color on the left leg (right side) on the bottom to Khorne red. The other reds are evil sunz scarlet. If it is a driver problem in 3d you should see the color from my picture correctly. If it is general  problem with your gpu or monitor it wont help :D

Cream is also cream and not white. And i had no changes of colors during the updates at least not to those i used.

The official BR color in SM 2 is evil sunz scarlet, not Khorne red. This color used to be mroe scarlet rather than orange, perhaps you should understand and read what the thread is about rather than calling it nonesense?

Here is an example for the people trying to gaslight me.

PRE PATCH RED "looks scarlett and cream looks like cream

Looks like white stone and red looks more orangy.

As for black, this is glossy.

I am going to put these on the main post, but at this rate they may as well give us the old color back as "Blood Ravens scarlet" and bleached bone and chaos black"that is ofc if the devs dont want to change the colors.

You are arguing about the color khorne red. When did I mention color red khorne was orange? I said that the colors for the blood ravens where changed, the red used to be more scarlet and its now more orangy. In the game the blood ravenms standard color is evil sunz scarlet btw.

Again, Base Color for blood ravens red in the game is Evil sunz scarlet. Or at least is listed in it. Please do research before throwing arguments.

The fact that you were able to take a screenshot of that color and it differes from mine means something is odd with your gpu's rendering as this cannot be the monitor. But it cannot be the game as well otherwise i would have also a changed color.

It must be somthing either with your driver, or some strange effect of the game engine with your card and driver.

There's not really any official guide for Blood Ravens as extensive as any examples you'd find for most of the other popular Chapters. You mostly just need to research how they've been depicted in DoW (I, II, & III), White Dwarf Articles, and what other hobbiests have done then decide what you like. The Codex Astartes even says that Marines should mix up rank/squad/company heraldry from time to time, and BR is a fleet-based chapter with far-flung elements so it's easy to do what you like and just say "my Captain prescribed this system for his company." 

For example, in the White Dward article from 2019 (or so), primaris BRs were depicted with sergeants having Bone helms, gold helm for Captains, and black helm with bone faceplates for Lt.s and Ancients. In DOW 1, Captains had gold torsos and everyone had the same red helmet, even 1st company terminators. In DoW II, gold torsos for Captains were gone, but when the 1st Company made it's appearance in the Chaos Rising expansion all veterans have since been depicted with bone helms, including terminators (except the player's squads in terminator armor, as they are 4th Company using recovered wargear). Through all DoWs, sergeants were typically depicted as the one guy without a helm in their squad, but had a red helm if they did.

When making my own squads back in 5th Ed., sergeants had the same helm color as their squad, but with a gold skull stud. Each squad also has one corporal with a steel ("Boltgun metal"/"Leadbelcher") skull stud who leads the other combat squad if the unit is divided. Vets got bone helms, could have bone or silver breastplate device, but kept black trim on pauldrons. Captain and command squad got gold pauldron trim and gold breastplate devices.

Today, as I'm considering getting back in, I'm playing with the idea of putting stipes on sergeants. OP here with the black stripe was one idea I liked, but I'm personally leaning towards red w/ bone stripe and the same reversed for vet. sgt., while Lt.s would have the thinner black stripe on top of whatever their company's sgt.s have.
