Yeah huge missed opportunity..

I like the sword and shield, they are very cool but the guns look rather bland/boring. Could just be the images and it looks decent ingame but hard to tell.

I know, the level of hysteria is off the charts, but there's a grain of truth in there.

WH40K is an ongoing world building saga which has been going on for next to 40 years. It has a loyal fan base, and this fan base is the hard rock customer base of anything WH40K based. If you want to do it with the label on, you gotta do it right. 


I will not be banging my chest and screaming bloody murder: I am a grown man, I know how the worrisome and serious things in life look like, and none of this ^ is. 


BUT


I am also a huge Dark Angel fiend. I have been since 1993. I would really love to have it up to codex. As it was in my manuals and in my mind. This is why I forked a premium for, the first time in my life that I've paid for cosmetics. 

Cosmetics has to have only two qualities to make them worth: they need to be looking both good, and right. 


I am rather sure they will come around this. I also do hope we will get the chance to also change the color of robes, and finally to get the non Primaris power armors -GW permitting. There is a huge market to untap here, people that pay tens and hundreds of moneys for plastic minis. There is just one way to part them with their money: do the stuff they want the way they want, and the way is published in books. It's a neat trick. 


I am sure they will come around.

Red bolter aside. You can manage to pull off a deathwing bladeguard veteran currently in the game. It's my favorite alongside my victrix guard cosplay for Bulwark: 
2183900_37.jpgNote I put in a personal touch of mine and kept the shield body green since my deathwatch cosmetic is already using a red bodied shield. There's also an article in tale of painters where they colored the shield green so it's not that far away from canon.

Anybody else feel like the majority of these sub chapters are ALREADY creatable in game? I see maybe 2 or 3 new emblems.  Are these supposed to be completely new and different colors?  Thankfully the leg flames can be used for Salamanders I guess. But I bet you can't customize the color, just 1 color for the flame, not multiple colors.

Still can't use the 'Iron Halo' emblem as pictured.  You could before patch 4.5, but now it includes skull eyes from the Novamarines and you can't make them transparent/same color.

That no longer works because the skull eyes still show.  Hasn't worked since patch 4.1 I think.  Hence why I said you can't make them transparent/same color.
