I’d like to understand a few things because maybe it’s the vaccines, or perhaps the abrupt collapse of DNA integrity passed down to future generations ... I don’t know, you tell me. Let’s start with the basics. The first thing that comes to mind is that if players ask for something, you deliver. It’s simple.

It’s like going to the theater: if you go to see Romeo and Juliet, you expect a performance worthy of the name, not one where Romeo is black and Juliet is an 80-year-old woman. The audience would feel mocked and flood the place with negative reviews.

This is exactly what happened when you released the Dark Angels with green weapons instead of red ones or when you posted the Salamander with a sniper rifle. Even a child would understand that a Salamander should be shown with a meltagun, especially since there are no flamers in the game.

Yes, they can use sniper rifles and bolters like any other Astartes, but those aren’t the weapons that define their chapter. Salamanders are iconic for their use of flame-based weaponry: flamers, meltaguns, heavy flamers, and multi-meltas. These reflect their lore, their cultural connection to Vulkan, and their identity as masters of fire and the forge. Showing a Salamander with a sniper rifle or a bolter isn’t just unremarkable it misses the point of what makes them unique, But no, you chose to create something that makes absolutely no sense.

Now, let’s talk about the lack of a flamer or heavy flamer in a game where Tyranids are a key feature. You brag about having the best engine and stunning effects for next-gen GPUs, yet no flamers? There’s no other reasonable explanation for this oversight except that you’re completely disconnected from what makes sense in this context.

Apply this logic universally. The same goes for Space Marine 2. If players ask for more operations, better PvP, and more gear from the Firstborn like weapons and armor you give them what they want. Instead, we can’t even customize the colors of cloaks or shoulder pads separately. People want to color the trims differently from the decoration inside. How hard is that? Yet you spend ages on trivial updates and justify it with “time-consuming.” The only thing time-consuming here is the blood trying to reach your brains, likely because the nutrients necessary to keep your cognitive functions working don’t seem to make it there.

And what’s with giving the Iron Halo to the Devastator (sorry, “Heavy” a name I refuse to use)? Even in the miniatures, Devastators don’t have Iron Halos. Why? Because it doesn’t belong. The Iron Halo is for Chapter Masters, Captains, or special characters. If you want to include it, give it to a Tactical marine or an Honor Guard prestige class, not the Heavy.

You’ve clearly added it to pander to noobs who can’t play without extra protection. But what you’re too dense to understand is that a Devastator’s strength is in teamwork. Ultramarines are all about tactics and squad cohesion. Instead of encouraging players to rely on each other, you’ve created a crutch for bad players.

And let’s talk about the Power Fist—a joke of a weapon. I’ve tried every possible setup, but it’s garbage. Sure, it’s fine for swiping Minors, but against bigger Tyranids like Warriors? It’s like punching them with a rubber glove. Fix it already. After multiple patches, the weapon is still useless, ignored by skilled players who don’t even bother equipping it.

Larger maps are desperately needed. In mods, there have even been games with 10 or more players without any frame drops or performance issues. Yet players keep asking for more maps, more operations, and larger PvP maps not just small arenas and you have the capability to deliver. Instead, you limit yourselves to releasing one map every three months at best.

What would it cost you to release a map editor? Or at least to repurpose maps from the single-player campaign for use in multiplayer? Just try it. Release the maps, and if there are bugs, fix them over time. You could also use beta servers and select beta testers to try out new maps and content before an official release.

What’s stopping you from doing this? Seriously, what’s the problem?

And where are the awesome Chaos skins for PvP? I had seen some amazing armor upgrade sketches, and now there’s been no word about them. Same goes for the Firstborn armor they’ve just disappeared from the radar. What’s going on with that?

If you claim to honor the legacy of Warhammer, then listen to those who play it because a universe as vast and rich as this one deserves creators who understand that passion and attention to detail are the foundation of greatness

This post says it all . I totally agree and its a shame to see a a dev team who claim to be so passionate about the 40k ip to screw up things like Salamanders champion pack on behalf of silly excuses that no one believe in , not delivering bigger battlefield maps with 12 + players when the engine and tech its there to perfectly provide , putting us in a REAL battlefield ( not Just the "feeling of it by putting the real battle and effects Just in the background, while we just avoid it and run in narrow maps as the operations )where armies clashes , artillery comes down on you , conquering the map with your many battle brothers and charging in melee /desperate measures, leveling your character from a firstborn recruit to a Company Veteran status and unlocking classic unique weaponry loadouts etc.. Thats what any true 40k fan is dreaming of and hopefully , if the devs ( or more correctly , who is telling them what to do and not do , both GW and the game directors , because the devs are perfectly able to deliver what we want, so i think its more on the decision makers of that company) FINALLY decide to hear us ( i really hope my idea on horde mode that Brother Numitor liked and been so kind to deliver to the dev team) maybe we can have the game we are all dreaming about , but seeing those shallow updates makes me really lose hopes. Literally its so simple , so fucking simple to get this right by hearing the real 40k fans and people suggesting what its so obvious to do in order to make a very durable and fantastic game that will bring so many more players and money to their Company.  Or they evidently lack basic cognitive functions to understand and get this right, they are so out of touch with their customers because all that fame and praise at the start brainwashed them so hard that they think they better know what its better for the game and better know what we want than us ourselves, the players, or they just dont give a fuckdamn about us once they did the Money set for the annual company's goal and we can rot for what it concerns them once they made their quick buck and proceed delivering drip fed half assed content that almost everyone have said had enough about. Its bewildering how insane (in a negative way) the situation turned out . We have a dying game that seems It doesnt care to be saved at all and thats disheartening .  Put some REAL PASSION into something once in a while , instead of only thinking to profit , and the profit will come by itself , and even more abundant than what you currently made. Otherwise , the fate of this game can be one and one only : To be dead , dead , dead  . Dead , as the decison making chief's brain . Im so close to be so done with this game if there wont be any change in its direction

You know who you sound like? The guy at the bar that isn't getting any attention from the females. Here's the analogy: The bar's nice, the bros are cool, the bartenders are great, and yup not enough girls here. Then all of a sudden you announce loudly "I'm not having fun here cause I'm not meeting any chicks." hoping someone cares. We get it, you're not having fun. There's plenty of other bars/games to check out. Maybe you'll get some attention there. (doubt it though lmao) No need to make a huge announcement and a block of text that most of us aren't gonna read through.

And you know who you sound like with that reply who gives no argumentations and with a paladin like attitude in order to defend at any cost  a corp thats objectively doing shit post launch wise? You sound like  a loser , and because losers doesnt even know what a female is save for some confusing pics on the net , when you happen , for a strange twist of fate , to be in a nightclub that is claiming to have " the best real and accurate females " , then you see a person with big breasts but with a penis claiming its a real and accurate girl  , you will believe It,  saying its indeed a nice girl and blame others who are saying the opposite that if they cant find that girl attractive , they should go to other places and there is no need to look and read at the negative reviews . Thats the level of your critical thinking, but i highly doubt you will understand that lmao

Before this thread derails further into a negative direction which will force me to take more severe actions,

I would suggest focusing on the points made in the original thread posted by the user.

There are valid points within it and If the community is able to validate these points and/or rally behind them with justifiable reason/information/supporting facts, it can influence the overall progression of newer content that has yet to release.

Insult-fests serve no one and only hinder the validity of the complaints brought forth by the community.

Please have constructive arguments that can be taken away by the supporting teams.

There is always a chance revisions can be made.

Help your brothers and uplift valid concerns - let us not create a "Warrior Lodge" situation into heresy and discord.

I think you are right on keeping the focus on the thread purpose and i wont further reply to that user provoking comments , you can delete both my reply to him and also his comment in order to keep it clean if you wish.

Speaking of valid points , lets speak frankly for once , Brother Kimchi . I think both the user thread and my post's points are all valid and supported by facts and most of  them have been made by the community over and over again , and whenever there was a strong idea/ wish that was justifiable , supported by facts and with alot of info from the community , the results are to just being dismissed with a "No" or not even a reply by the devs team as we count nothing to them. we feel we are unheard and things keeps going as we never spoke out about what we want to see.  I mean why there havent yet been a reply from the devs here in these threads ? It is a fact that the community isnt Just unhappy only because the Salamander skin.. how many times the community insisted for having big battlefields battles with at least 10+ players in a clash between armies to better represent the 40k ip instead of the usual 3 man ops that we are tired of ? How many times the community rallied for having our " no named" character with face skins specific chapters customizations ? How many times the community have asked for better and more accurate customization for at least the main chapters ? How many times the community have asked to have firstborn marines / complete armour sets/Classic weaponry instead of just some helmets "during the lifespan of the game" ? How many times the community have asked/voted to have the Firstborn 1st Company Veterans classes in the game ? Same goes for Chaos marines dedicated ops (or at least in horde mode ) , Chaos marines customization ? Same goes for new weapons and so on (and note : those requests doesnt needs to be justified or supported , they are the most wanted things from the community itself, they should have just being made , zero discussions/excuses on that)? Those are the ONLY FACTS and infos that matters and has tò be made without any justification excuses in my opinion, not some external excuses.  COUNTLESS times , and COUNTLESS times we either get a straight no or being ignored month after month , with things going forward as our feedback meant nothing to Saber.  I dont know if this is stubborness of the game directors chiefs or whatever , but this game is in a really bad state now , and the players count keeps decreasing (and please spare me the " its phisyological / play something else" argument , we know its not that at all) . Literally im desperatedly trying to maks this reaching the dev's mind before its too late for the game. Hows possible that they keep going in that direction despite the facts prove them to be utterly wrong ? Do they read us at all ? Really im bewildered and at the same time i dont know what to think . Dont have it on me , i Just want this game to be what it should and be the voice of many , MANY people in the community which some of them are even afraid to speak out their opinion because apparently , you cant criticize the game or you will get stormed by this game's blinded by faith defending paladins which are further contributing to the demise of the game , pretending that everything is perfectly fine and with the "play another game" nonsensical and full of copium philosophy. And thats unreal . I mean , what do we have to do to be heard  more than  keep saying the same things over and over ? Feels so useless at this point

In the end we poured our money into this game believing that we could make /changing  it the way we wished , and seeing this not happening its insane and utmost disrespectful in my opinion and to the community as a whole

By the way , back on topic . Since most of us are definetly not having a blast with the game for many reasons (easily proven by not just the recent comments on the new upcoming content and champion pack ,but also for the current state of the game in general forum section ) i think many points needs to be addressed in order to fill its lackluster content :

the Power Fist needs some huge rework . It may play fine but doesnt feel like the weapon the lore describes and should be more devastating  at the expense of its animation speed. As It Is now i agree that punching with normal blows especially feels off , like its made of foam rubber . It should break everything apart with very few normal blows (like 2 max for majoris )and always oneshot majoris and extremis with a charged blow, we can take more damage in the process , but being rewarded by a satisfying killer punch and get back armour or health if we succeed

Larger open maps with more players in it , like 12+ players maps are definetly needed (maybe horde mode will be the perfect occasion to implement them). We want to actually be in the core of the battlefield , not Just passing by it and seeing It from the distance on the far away scenery and fight in narrow corridors as operations does now.  Thats why the number of players in the future maps and modes should be increased . We want to feel to be part of an army that clashes directly with the invaders, if you get what i mean, and replicate what we see.in many artbooks depicting epic large scale battles , not of just 3 doofers running in the corner streets of the city lol. And make them with objectives like you can conquer /lose outposts, facilities ,bases , cannon /artillery batteries bases , conquering the open mid field to make the cadian support advance. Covers from distant enemy infantry and artillery and so on. Untill the final wave with a boss (or not) shows up for the final clash etc.. and so on

Also , making those battles a community effort in order to make the crusade progressing or regressing based on the overall win/loss ratio by the players , with cosmetic weaponry and armours as rewards if the community makes it to repel the xenos or conquering new sectors

Playable and fully customizable Chaos marines in horde mode in order to make pve more appealing for the Chaos fans

Faces customization: i think its a must have and most of the players agree it would be a nice change. Making our dedicated chapter custom faces would be insanely good

New units as Firstborn marines: make us level them up from recruit to the rank of 1st Company Veterans , with dedicated and more complex talent trees and give us access to their classic weaponry and loadouts . Firstborn Vets could really be a real gameplay style change

Move away from Talasa squad will give the devs way more space to implement new Battle scenarios and units

Champion packs : how about making just packs where every class can get its personal and full customizable skins (way more than what we get now, its honestly poor), rather than just giving a super skin to one class (not even customizable) and few not so great and lackluster options for the other classes so we can kitbash them the way we want

Apply this logic universally. The same goes for Space Marine 2. If players ask for more operations, better PvP, and more gear from the Firstborn like weapons and armor you give them what they want. Think salamander skin is lore accurate and power fist is fine. Sure they both can be tuned a little but I think overall it’s not a big deal

If you claim to honor the legacy of Warhammer, then listen to those who play it because a universe as vast and rich as this one deserves creators who understand that passion and attention to detail are the foundation of greatness

vaccines and lack of dna? What 😂???

Think salamander skin is lore accurate and power fist is fine. Sure they both can be tuned a little but I think overall it’s not a big deal

Have you thought about playing on minimal until you get better with the fist?

It’s like going to the theater: if you go to see Romeo and Juliet, you expect a performance worthy of the name, not one where Romeo is black and Juliet is an 80-year-old woman. The audience would feel mocked and flood the place with negative reviews.

This is exactly what happened when you released the Dark Angels with green weapons instead of red ones or when you posted the Salamander with a sniper rifle. Even a child would understand that a Salamander should be shown with a meltagun, especially since there are no flamers in the game.
