Any chance we could get some elite / prestige achievements that reward unique wargear like completing on Lethal and Absolute difficulty does? Specifically;

=> Complete all Operations on Absolute without dying (any class).

=> Complete all Operations on Absolute with each class without dying. (Something super shiny for this one since it'd probably be the hardest goal in the game).

But you already get to helm and pauldron, right?

That's for completing the Operations on Absolute difficulty, any number of deaths is fine. This would add an additional two tiers (0 deaths all operations any class and 0 deaths all operations for each class) which are significantly harder to achieve and require expert skill in the game and in each class to achieve 0 deaths in each operation for each class, and a fair bit of luck.

As much as I am for achivements and cosmetics for completing certain tasks, looking at the reactions from people from what we already have it would just add more fuel to the fire.
The "No locked cosmetics" crowd would nag non stop about it.

The whole point would be to reward skill and for those skilled players to be able to showcase it. Anyone can get carried through Absolute difficulty, not everyone can do it without dying.

Also; the cosmetics aren't locked if you complete the requirements, and that's no different than the requirements to unlock existing wargear, usually necessitating you complete a certain number of Operations, difficulties or Ordeals to unlock. What would be galling is if you can buy them as DLC, that would invalidate the point.

I feel the same as you do regarding cosmetic rewards.
But that didn't stop people from complaining that "you shouldn't lock cosmetics behind difficulty. Cosmetics should be available for everyone".

I think challenges that give players something for completing it is a good thing.
It give players something to work for. Even if it might take days, weeks, maybe even months to achieve.
I do also understand that not everyone might be able to reach such goals due to whatever reasons.
I myself have played games where I've wanted something tied to a challenge that I never got, but I never blamed the game for it.
I know what I have limits and I accept that fact and maybe I don't think the time and effort is worth it.

There are a lot of people playing a game and a game has to have something for everyone.
It's the same thing when people complain that higher tiers are "too difficult". Like, come on. Higher tiers are meant to be more difficult the higher you get.
It's the whole point of having more than 1 difficulty setting.

tl:dr- You can't appease everyone and there will always be people that will complain no matter what.

Literally the two rewards you get only if you complete Lethal (Survivors Helm) and Absolute (Tyranind pauldron) difficulty. Have you actually even played the game?
