I've seen simmilar post on reddit and I thought: why not check same thing on Focus forum? :)

If I remember correctly, the most played Chapter in reddit poll was Salamanders Chapter. 

PS: Because there is really a lot of Chapters in the game, I placed in the poll only first founding ones. 

Let's say if you are playing one of successor one, you still vote for the one that was base for creating it. 

Feel free to write in comment which one you play if it's one of unknown founding or successor.

​Ultramarines. For me, PVE is the extension of the campaign, where Thalassa and Viridian are part of the Ultramarines Second Company. I just can't imagine any of them as battle-brothers from another chapter.

All of them, i.e. the Alpha Legion.

I tried to play Ultramarines too but I think game give me this strong feeling that this is the "basic chapter" and that kills part of my will to play as them. Like in need for speed, you start the game and with basic car that you use only because you have to in order to progress in game and unlock the one that you want. 

I know from lore perspective this is nonsense, but I can't help it, game gave me this feeling, further reinforced by Ultramarines Champion that I got at start. 

Then I played Boltgun and Boltgun did much better on making me feel like son of Rob Top G again but.... in SM 2 you cannot make proper Malum Caedo and that turned me off a bit again...:( WHAT A ROLLERCOASTER OF EMOTIONS AND EXPERIENCES.

Anyway.

Hopefully this will change in future, I've seen in news about incoming update that they will push customization options a bit forward allowing us to paint hands and arms separately. Few more steps in this direction and Malum will purge in SM 2 as well.:)

Tactical and Bulwark are Salamanders.

Assault and Vanguard are Raven Guard.

Sniper and Heavy are Raptors.

Heavy would be Salamanders if there were better options.

The Ultramarines. Tbh it's hard for me to play as another chapter that aren't UM or a UM successor. Seeing as how the dialogue in game mentions them as such all the time.

No matter if I play SM or CSM I always play Iron Warrior or Alpha Legion :D

Iron Warrior heavy looks pretty dope already but ofc more customisation wouldn't hurt.

I meant "loyalist" Iron Warriors, so we can play them in PvE, not only as Chaos in PvP. I wish we could get closer to what we can see in PvP models but we are lacking basic components such as for example iconic pauldron paiting. : /
