The game is definitely approachable and accessible to the largest bulk of your assistance again. So, in that, congratulations on achieving the minimum you should be arriving for at all times. That said, there are some serious issues in your game that I know I'm not the only person that experiences or sees.

The two largest are your parry hitches, and your stupid camera.

Parry hitches: the animation either doesn't activate at all on button press, or it activates other than it should and results in parries being missed all together or the windows activate late and severely disturb the rhythm of play, which ultimately will result in missed parries, or worse.

Your camera: Since 4.1 I have died multiple times to your camera fighting with me when I try to manually adjust it. Even if someone is locked on to an enemy, manual adjustments should override automated follow functions. Related, locking on is super-fucky now, and it doesn't reliably see your character "chase" the proper enemy, this is another major irritation when the faulty follow and parry decide to show up at the same time.

Some smaller gripes:

It seems you have given excessive hyper armor to all of the enemies. That sucks, hormagaunts and termagants shouldn't be shrugging off chain sword, combat knife, or any melee attack from a space marine, that isn't charged. Further, your majoris units outright not staggering, ever, is just trash. If this is what you intended, then you guys really need a design leadership overhaul.

Gun strike failures... It seems you broke something in regards to gun strikes. I shouldn't have to chase a staggered enemy with the camera to begin with, if there's an enemy I've staggered within range, pulling the trigger should have my character execute that action. That said, I think it's a further fault in your tracking function, that when I go to execute gun strikes, 1/5 simply doesn't complete. The character will hold the gun up, pull the trigger, and there is no explosion from the firearm, to popping head, no armor gained.

Armor maths... I don't know what you guys did to the armor, but it's all but completely useless, now. You can keep it up at lower difficulties, but it's nowhere near as resilient as it should be. Each bar of armor should act like armor, or you need to just remove the mechanic. One way or the other, you need to address your ludicrous obsession with limiting health regeneration.

I think that sums up my thoughts. I know it all reads like a bitch fest, but I love the game and just want to what it can offer to player be maximized through a fluid and engaging experience. I'm not going to pretend there are no faults in the game, lot that some of them aren't pretty irritating.

All things considered, pretty good recovery from the cluster-eff that was 4.0.
