No 40k game has ever allowed the lore friendly customisation of left hand red fist! Be better than everyone else with one simple addition :D

Space marine 1 did! And for some reason, they left that and a few other patterns out of SM2.I have an article working to get the hand customization, as well as lower leg and faceplate customization added. Its titled "missing color options"

Let me go color mad. Let me color the knee pad and the trim of the knee pad different colors!

This Lore-friendly suggestion would go a long way to further secure the transactions of lifetime Warhammer 40,000 fans and show Focus' recognition of all of the color schemes utilized on Canon Armour builds.

Was this added later? Because I do not remember them having this.

It was the pattern option. Idk if it was in at the start or not, but it has been for a while. Faceplate/hands/lower legsSM1 Mortifactors.png

They're called the Crimson Fists, not the Crimson Arms!
But in all seriousness the Crimson Fists aren't some nobody chapter, and they also feature in one of (in my mind at least) the most iconic pieces of 40K artwork ever. So iconic it's been done about... 3 times I want to say?image loaded from urlimage loaded from url

Customised fists would allow for more correct Iron Hands as well as no end of lore-accurate variants for the existing chapters.
