Block weapons - and a parry joke

I have been playing the block weapons since their mechanic has been reworked and I like them but I do think they need a little help. The weapon damage usually being the highest is the biggest benefit but I think the AOE from the explosion needs to be big enough so that you can effectively end that attack that caused the explosion and start up the next one and EVERYTHING around you in staggered. As it is right now only thing in a tiny tiny tiny radius around the target you hit get staggered. The AOE is tiny. I mean if you hit a target in your face a target at you back can actually still be attacking you.  But if the AOE effected a larger area (doesn’t need to be damage just a knockdown) it would be a game changer. 


When you compare it to fencing in its current state, i don’t see that addition being all that bad and I still think fencing being the overall better choice. 


Fencing should get a bar like when hormagaunt shoot you. When you parry to many in a certain time period, you get staggered and off centered for a duration.  Lol

It is true. I've pointed this AOE issue out with others as well in the Forum section. Block rework was introduced with Patch 5 when the AOE was much better and it staggered (4.5 metres radius). I think, that this is a bug now, as the AOE is like 1 meter. They reduced the number of blocks needed for the AOE effect, but somehow managed to bug it's radius.
